The Main Pier

Wasagaming's Main Pier has provided Riding Mountain National Park's visitors with many memories since its construction in 1934. It is the Marina's home, a popular walking route, and the subject of many photographer's eye.  In 2002, a large section of the original pier was reconstructed as the present day bridge. This bridge helps to restore natural water flow and increases both beach and water quality. It embodies two important concepts: the region's cultural history and the need to preserve this valued ecosystem for the future.

The townsite of Wasagaming is the heart of Riding Mountain National Park, featuring all the amenities and services you’ll need while visiting the Park and Clear Lake. The resort town is replete with log structures built during the 1930's Great Depression- you can see a movie at North America's largest log theater and check out interpretive displays of local animal and plant species at the Visitor's Centre, one of many Federal Heritage Buildings in the park. Enjoy great dining, unique shops, and a multitude of leisure activities. Wasagaming has many accommodation options ranging from camping to full service resorts with cabins and chalets.
